OK, I plan on joining ONLY ONE social networking site unlike lots of others who are on all of these sites. I am an adult (not a teen) and my friends and co-workers are split on which I should do, if I only do one. What do you think?
I do have a channel on YouTube, so I’m not completely in the dark ages. Also, friends advised I forget My Space, so I’m not considering that site. Thanks.

The New York Times reports that Mark Zuckerman, the creator of the popular Facebook, turned down an offer of $750 million from Viacom. Last week Yahoo offered him $900 million, however the deal has not been finalized. How do you feel about Yahoo entering the facebook/myspace type of networking.

Will you change from MySpace to Facebook if Yahoo gets it and relaxes the registration requirements?
Apparently you currently have to have either a college or business e-mail address to register with Facebook.

I have literally made a profile…got tired of the way social networking made me feel..and cancelled and deleted my account..only to come back several times more and do the same thing. I swear I have done this like 10 times on myspace in the last 5 years and 3 on facebook.

I go back and forth with the fact that I am from California, living in NYC, and feel pretty isolated and disconnected from my home sweet home. It’s sounds lame..but I also like to show what my accomplishments and adventures have been on my page…but that makes me sort of narcissist..and I don’t like that..anywho..suggestions?

What are your thoughts on social networking? Did you promise yourself to stay away from them completely? Did anything help you decide that?

Which is your favorite of these social networking sites & why?

I just saw the fox news group on facebook. For those of you that dont know, facebook is a networking site for college students. Their slogan: “Fox News, the network your professors dont want you to watch” WTF?! Is this new? Why in the hell would a news network that constantly screamed “fair and balanced” actually just go all out and admit their bias. But hey, whatever, its not like it was a mystery.
Well I knew there would be at least one jakass that would say “Well you watch CNN, MSNBC duuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr.” Not that the point there genius, I am well aware of bias, just not the flagrant parading of it.
