do the birds tweet as much now (dawn-chorus)?
as they always have or is there a lot of high pitched “chirps+twitters” you fail to hear because of age?ie:there is a device that sounds a high pitched noise that only teenagers can hear ,and it moves them on from gathering in groups at shopping mall’s (seriously)by its irritating noise.
