It was 97 degrees here today outside and indoors got really warm as well. I had not idea, I left windows open and the fan on but it was probably in the 80s indoors when I got home from work. My older (age unknown) chihuahua mix came to greet me, toy in mouth as usual, ran out to the lawn, and then stumbled and collapsed. He was out for about 1.5 minutes. I was so worried. He twittered a bit but not a lot..he just lay there. I picked him up to get him to emergency but he started to come to and wag his tail. I put him back on the lawn to watch him and he slowly made it back to “normal” 5-10 minutes later. He ate dinner, I gave him a cool bath and he went to sleep. Do you think he had a heat stroke or a seizure?
