What Is A Proxy?
What is a Proxy? Anyone who knows a little about scripts can set up a PHP website. Download a few pages and a good script, put it on a server that doesn't mind the bandwidth usage and "presto", you've got a proxy site. Well, as an American, I do believe in freedom; we enjoy freedom of the press, we have limited books banned, and we can get any type of information on the web right now, with or without a proxy. We may sometimes need information we don't necessarily want others to know about (easily looked up in your History) and should have the right to read that information. Personally, I would rather my spouse stay at home rather than go out. I'd rather my teen be "curious" online (parental controls can usually be set to pick up key terms and block even with a proxy site) than pregnant in the real world. As for the Slackers at work- they really should get a life and be fired, chances are there’re not doing the job anyway!
