Should the LLC be named the same as a website?

I am in the process of starting a website/company. We have a website named “x” (for example) and we are also needing to register a company. For the company type we have chosen to register and LLC. Currently we went ahead and registered a randomly named LLC to pretect the name of the website until we trademark the name. Then our plans are to change the name of our LLC to the website name. I’ll use Yahoo for example.

Yahoo.com was created and they we looking into creating a company out of it. They wanted to trademark the name Yahoo but needed a copy to trademark it to. Therefore to protect the name they registered a incorporation using the name Yohaa then registered the trademark Yahoo to Yohaa and then changed the name of the inc. from Yohaa to Yahoo. So now the they have the company Yahoo Inc with with name yahoo trademarked and Yahoo.com copyrighted to them.

More examples:

Google.com – Google Inc
Twitter.com – Twitter LLC
Myspace.com – Inc.
Yahoo.com – Yahoo! Inc.
Purevolume.com – Purevolume Inc

What are the benefits of having your company name the same as your website?

This is probably a little difficult to understand, ask if you need more information.

Thanks!

Should facebook become open to all people?

The creators of Facebook are considering opening Facebook to all, by allowing people to register in their regions. It was an exclusive site open only to college students and faculty. They’ve already opened it to high school students and companies, which I think is too far.
I’m not asking whether or not it should be open to all colleges, because it should. I’m asking whether it should be open to the general population.
